Seem like most of my friends had problem logging in MSN messenger, i got the solution for u guys. B4 doing the steps i told u, remember tat by doing this is at yr OWN RISK!!! Spoil, dun ask me.. i am just telling u the way to sign up. However, all my friends who i had told them, all of them r able to log in, so i think the % of failure is very low. Ok, finish reading? let go to the steps
1) Click on the start bar, then run this prompt: C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
*note, some people may have this file on their D or E drives, so be sure to check out where your system files are.
2) When asked what program to open the file with, choose Notepad.
3) Paste this
65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net
at the bottom of the notepad file and save it.
*note: be careful not to change anything in the "hosts" file, as it will cause your MSN not to work. Just paste the above two lines into the file and save it.
All right, try logging to MSN messenger again.
